This spring, Genki is bringing you a fresh and flavorful feast with a variety of premium Japanese-inspired ingredients, paired with unique seasonings and cooking techniques.
Leading the lineup is the Braised Clam Gunkan ($14/2 pieces), made with plump, tender clams slow-cooked in Japanese soy sauce and mirin to lock in their natural sweetness and delicate texture. Next, indulge in the Sakura Chips Bonito Tataki with Garlic Sushi ($10), featuring top-grade, line-caught Pacific bonito, carefully smoked with sakura wood. The result? A crispy, slightly charred outer layer infused with a subtle smokiness that enhances its rich umami.
For a satisfying crunch, try the Jumbo Salmon Tataki with Wasabi Tartar Sauce Sushi ($15), featuring a thick-cut salmon portion – twice the usual size – lightly fried to golden perfection and topped with zesty Japanese-style wasabi tartar sauce. The Jumbo Red Shrimp Sushi ($17) offers a sweet, juicy bite at 1.5 times the size of our usual red shrimp, bringing you a truly indulgent seafood experience.
